HOME
Home is the house where I was born 9/11/1941 in Orlando Florida, at 1047 America Street. Dr. Hankins and a Midwife assisted my mama with my birth. It is the place where I began to draw images in the sand and in wet mud. The scene represents the designated day grand-mama did the wash. I created the portrait in 1986. Oil on canvas 22″x 28″. The first edition was reproduced on semi-glossy Poster paper and the 2nd edition was reproduced as a lithograph on Strathmore – 80lb. cover stock size is 20″x 24″ with a 1” border.
