Description
“End of the Day” is a sequel of “In the Fields”. I was a very young boy growing up in Orlando, Florida. The image depicts how I remember the Tobacco fields at the end of a 15-hour day of working. My Responsibility was to fetch the water in buckets and serve it to the men and women who worked those fields for 20-25 cents per box from dawn to dust. The original oil painting on canvas size is 28″ x 30″. (Sold-LE).
The charcoal lithograph reproduction is 14″ x 17″, printed on 400 series Strathmore, 100% acid free, 80lb. cover stock.
